A blog by W. Brian Murphy

Ramblings from a mind in overdrive

Welcome to my new and (hopefully) improved site.  It will be a work in progress for a while, as I get the hang of this and we figure out where it’s going.

A little about me, you ask?  OK, I’m Brian Murphy.  I’m an Emergency Room RN who has been fortunate enough to work with some spectacular people throughout my 24 year career.  I’m married to a fantastic and beautiful woman named Karen (who just so happens to be the greatest REALTOR in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia!!).  We live in Virginia Beach, VA with a houseful of feathered and furred children …pets to some of you, I guess!

My blog posts will be eclectic; featuring anything from old collectible dolls, to my saltwater aquarium, to my Dad’s writing, and of course my personal opinion on the state of things these days.  I’ll probably post some images from my photography hobby as I progress there as well.

Please feel free to comment on any post you’d like to. It’s the only way I’ll know anyone has been here!

Thanks for stopping by

Brian, I wandered over here from your dad’s site. Welcome to the blogging world. I was a paramedic for two years in the US Army – did 13 months in the MASH in Korea that inspired the book and the movie and TV series. Always enjoyed the world you work in …

    Happy Thanksgiving from Connemara,
    Slan, Pat.
